Nozzles for pasteurization units

Air and water spray nozzles are largely employed in pasteurizers, which break down all the bacteria inside alimentary tanks through a heating and cooling process.

The pasteurization systems can be tunnel or spiral, based on the space available to the company. In these systems, the target of the pasteurization process is passed on a conveyor belt. It is sprayed with hot water through nozzles to heat it up to the temperature necessary for pasteurization. This step usually uses tangential or axial cones depending on the intended implant. It is then held at this temperature long enough for microbial retardation and then gently cooled with a spray of water or air.

If cooling occurs with water, nozzles made of plastic with a hollow cone are also used, given that the liquid is at room temperature.
