The safety standards applied to food and beverage are increasingly important to consumers. At every stage of product processing, we must avoid contamination of any origin in the food sector. Moreover, the absence of pollutants is essential.
PNR Italia has various certifications for its products, particularly in the food industry.

3-A

PNR Italia is authorized to use the 3-A Symbol to the tank washing head code UA3 xxxx B31 xCx, conforming to 3-A 78-01 (Spray Cleaning Devices Intended to Remain In Place).

FCMs

PNR Italia has set up and dedicated part of its company to manufacturing products in compliance with the food contact materials declaration (following the Framework Regulation 1935/2004 and Regulation 2023/2006), with a dedicated warehouse and machines. Products made exclusively in AISI 316L s.s. and/or pure PTFE are available, on request, in compliance with food contact.

Detectable spray nozzles and tank washing equipment

For the food and beverage sector, PNR Italia offers its classic products such as nozzles, washing heads and clamps made of MDT material (magnetically detectable thermoplastics: magnetically detectable thermoplastics) and specifically PPh (polypropylene homopolymer: homopolymer polypropylene).
MDT compounds are designed to be detected by any type of detector, even when present in very small parts. This makes them suitable for metal replacement, suitable for contact with food, and produced in dark blue to be better identified under any circumstances.
