Several industrial processes need the atomization of liquids into tiny droplets.

This result might be achieved through a hydraulic nozzle, with the liquid being fed through a tiny orifice at high pressure.

Hydraulic atomizers have two main disadvantages:
1- Requiring costly investments and a complicated layout;
2- Originating plugging issues because of the small orifice dimensions.

The advantages are:
1- There is no need for compressed air;
2- They are relatively simple, easy-to-maintain tools.

OF PNEUMATIC ATOMIZERS

In most industrial processes, fine liquid atomization is obtained utilizing air-assisted atomizers, where compressed air supplies the required energy to break the liquid and throw the droplets at a given distance from the atomizer.

An air atomizing system has, however, two inherent disadvantages:
1- The narrow inside passages require adequate filtering of air and liquid;
2- The high-speed jet will only produce narrow-angle sprays. Multiple orifice atomizers produce diverging sprays with better droplet distribution to overcome this issue.

On the other hand, the advantages are:
1- The drops they generate are the tiniest ever
2- They have various accessories to fit all applications.
