X-AIR, the new vortex tube capable of producing cold and hot air with no electricity
PNR Italia completes its product range with an efficient and reliable instruments such as vortex tubes
The newcomer in the PNR Italia product range is X-AIR, a vortex tube capable of generating small volumes of cold or hot air with the use of compressed air only.
Vortex tubes are devices capable of generating small volumes of cold or hot air, and are traditionally used in the process industry to cool or heat small objects or surfaces. An incoming compressed air flow is divided into two parts, exiting from two orifices, thus generating hot and cold air.
The advantages of this product lie in the type of power it requires: simply operating with compressed air, you can avoid the problems related to electricity use. In addition, having no moving parts, they do not require any maintenance and do not show wear even after years of service.
PNR Italia X-AIR vortex tubes are manufactured in quality stainless steel and tested in our laboratories to provide optimal performance.

APPLICATIONS OF VORTEX TUBES
UEE | X-AIR
Vortex tubes generate small volumes of hot or cold air in many industrial processes to cool or heat confined areas.
Examples of vortex tube applications include:
COOLING
Localized cooling of machine tools for processing plastic, metal, and wood;
HEAT TREATMENT
Heat treatment for welding, applications for hot bonding, hot welding, sewing needles, plastic molding;
COOLING AND DEHUMIDIFICATION
Cooling and dehumidification of laboratory samples, gases, and small environments;
THERMOCONDITIONING
Thermo-conditioning of electronic control panels of CNC machines, industrial PCs, on-board machine panels, PLC, and electric motors;
GENERATION OF HOT AIR
Generation of hot air without sparks and explosion risk for plastic processing, hot glue processing, and seals in the packaging;
COOLING
Cooling of workers with protective clothing.
ADVANTAGES OF X-AIR
X-AIR is a convenient, safe, and easy-to-use vortex tube. Having no moving parts, it is portable and lightweight. It works thanks to compressed air and does not use electricity: this factor secures the vortex tube from possible sparks and interference. Thanks to its design, it works instantly and does not require cleaning or maintenance.
